NESSA - Spring 2020 HS sailing Season - S7
1) ISSA has a Conference Call on Thursday, March 19th to discuss the Mallory and the Baker. Chris, Jonathan, Roy, and I will be on that call. At this point, ISSA has left decisions regarding district regattas up to each district.
2) On Monday, March 23, there is a NESSA ExComm Conference call. We will be discussing the ISSA call from 3/19 and how it affects the NESSA Spring Championships (O'Day, Herreshoff, and Teams). NESSA is waiting until 3/23 b/c the situation is still fluid, and we do not need to make decisions until April.
So what can each of you do at this stage.
3) Fill out this NESSA CoronaVirus Update Google Form.
Data collected prior to Thursday evening (3/19) will help NESSA present the most accuarte landscape of the our district to ISSA.
4) If you have cancelled or postponed regattas that are not posted on the NESSA Schedule page, please let me know, so I can update our website.
5) Continue to register for the 2020 NESSA Spring Championships. The registration deadline remains April 1, 2020.
Next update will be Friday 3/20. Of course, given the influx of new information daily, we will keep you updated accordingly.
