2019-2020 Rankings
NWISA rankings are based on three "Ranking Regattas" during each school year. This first being the Fall Championship, the second being Ranking Regatta #2 held at the beginning of the spring season, and the third being Ranking Regatta #3 held towards the end of the spring season. These Ranking Regattas also determine the 20 teams qualifying for the NWISA Doublehanded District Championship. Each of the ranking regattas qualifies a certain number of teams, RR1 qualifies the top 5, RR2 the top 7, and RR3 the top 8. For more details see the District Rule 6.1.1.
Ranking Regatta # 1 - Fall Championship @ Silverdale - November 2-3
Ranking Regatta # 2 - Island Cup @ Oak Harbor - March 7-8
Ranking Regatta # 3 - Forrest Cook @ Hood River - April 4-5 - (CANCELED due to COVID-19)
In the event that the NWISA Doublehanded District Championship does not complete at least three races, NWISA shall be represented at the Mallory by the top team(s) in the district as determined by their top two results in that school year’s Ranking Regattas.
